A.M.P.A

The Associations of Mothers and Fathers of Students of Attendis schools serve to articulate in an orderly way the participation of parents in the life of the centers.
The AMPA joins its work with that of the rest of the school community in improving the school both outside and inside. The tasks of the AMPA is to encourage the participation in the school’s initiatives to fulfill its mission of helping families, and towards the promotion and organization of all kinds of activities.

Parents Activities

The pre-eminent role of parents in the education of children is a characteristic factor of Attendis schools. For this reason, Guadalimar makes available to parents the tools necessary for their training:

working groups, personal interviews and counseling sessions that allow them to carry out their work as the main educators of their children, at all stages of life and circumstances, for this purpose the school organizes training activities every year – Family Orientation Courses, conferences, etc.-, given by experts in family pedagogy.

In the specific case of Family Orientation Courses, these are training programs that are based on a participatory methodology, through the case method. In this way, universal events arising from family and married life are exposed, studied, put together, and solutions are sought to improve communication between members, both in marriage and with children. In short, it is about training to become a better person, a better father, a better mother and a better professional, in service to others and to oneself.
